Jay Price, Senior Pastor
Jay Price is the Senior Pastor at Word of Life. He is a 2005 graduate of Lutheran Brethren Seminary in Fergus Falls, MN and a 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Jay spent six years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship ministering to college students at the University of Wisconsin–Stout. Most recently he has served as Senior Pastor of Sunshine Lutheran Brethren Church in Holiday, FL (2005-2011).
Jay and his wife Amy have three children—Jacob, Elizabeth and Andrew—and a very sweet Golden Retriever named Molly. As a family they enjoy going to the kids’ sporting events, playing board games, watching STAR WARS movies, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Jay is passionate about helping people come to a new and deeper trust in Jesus Christ. And he is often caught off-guard by God’s rich and extravagant grace for sinners like him. Most days he’s content just to know that he belongs to Jesus. |
